Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon – Foot and Ankle Specialist
Mr Carter is a full time specialist Foot and Ankle Surgeon based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital of Glasgow. He is UK trained in Edinburgh, Cardiff and Glasgow with European Fellowship placements in Vienna, Bordeux and Zurich.
He is a specialist in modern foot and ankle techniques such as joint replacements (ankle and great toe) and bunion (hallux valgus) correction with compression screws avoiding the requirement of post operative plaster cast immobilisation. He also carries out traditional orthopaedic surgery such as complex hindfoot deformity correction and ankle fusions.
